The Alma U.C.W. group meet monthly (every 2nd Tuesday) for worship, study and fellowship. 

Special meetings are planned throughout the year to
include couples and families of the congregation. 

The Mother/Daughter/Son Banquet is held in May with an overflowing crowd enjoying favourite recipes for a pot-luck dinner which is followed by entertainment.

The very active catering committee, assisted by all
members (husbands included) served a total of 2,315
dinners in the past year, plus approximately 600 lunches.  Money realized is donated to our local church, church
missions and local hospitals and charities.

The "Strawberry Social" or "Garden Party" is held in June. This year Tuesday June 26th It has been a tradition for more than 100 years.  Alma/Goldstone congregations plan and prepare a salad supper including fresh strawberries, cakes and tarts for 700 - 800 visitors.  To celebrate the Year 2000, an outdoor program followed the dinner, with
