For kids: Project Albatross

Wake Forest University is running a project that lets kids track albatrosses.  Here's some of what the site says:

Kids from all over are joining with scientists to track the movements of ocean-going albatrosses in Hawaii We are using sensitive satellites in space, miniature transmitters on birds, and rapid email communications to investigate the travels of these animals on the open ocean.  Get to know albatrosses and our project by checking out this Web Site.  Join the project yourself and use the satellites for your own scientific study; we started tracking on January 22!  Looks like fun.

There are other interesting links at this site.  Check it out.
