What
is the Military?
The
military is the Profession of Arms, which is comprised
of members dedicated to the defence of Canada and the
nation's interests, as directed by the Government of
Canada.
The
Profession of Arms is distinguished by the concept of
service before self, and the lawful application of military
force, as well as the concept of unlimited liability.
That is, the Canadian Forces is a force of good and
for good, one which strives to maintain a high degree
of professionalism that reflects the morals and values
of Canadian society.
As
Canadian Forces members, we understand and accept the
fact that we may be ordered into harm's way, and into
conditions that may lead to a loss of life.
Why
join?

are two different recruiters involved in the application
process.

for the unit, and she/he is given the task of attracting
new recruits to the unit (in this case, the Argylls).

give you the basic information on the unit and an application
package, and to convince you that you want to be an

The
CFRC Recruiter processes
your file. After handing-in your file to CFRC, you will
complete all the necessary tests/exams at the CFRC until
you are given an employment offer.
