Back To God Hour - Chinese

The Back to God Hour began its ministry to Mainland China in 1974, under the direction of Rev. Isaac Jen. Today, Rev. Jimmy Lin oversees the ministry to China, the most populous country in the world, home to more than one-fifth of the world's population. Due to a shortage of trained ministers in China, there is a lack of consistent and sound biblical teaching. Today, in Mandarin and Cantonese, the messages of Rev. Lin and his staff help to fill that void. Each week broadcasts are heard not only throughout China, but also in key areas where Chinese immigrant have settled—Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand and North and Central America.

A bilingual website was launched five years ago and today receives approximately 25,000 visits each month. Another important aspect of the Chinese ministry is the bilingual Chinese-English Today devotional. And sensing an urgent need for reaching Chinese children, Rev. Lin and his staff are developing ministry package for children, consisting of radio programs, literature, CDs and a website.

Ministry Leader: Rev. Jimmy Lin

Rev. Jimmy Lin was born in Hong Kong and became a Christian during his college years. He received his theological training at Westminster and Princeton Theological Seminaries. He was pastor of the Hop Yat Church in Hong Kong before joining The Back to God Hour in 1990.
