The Eudora e-mail client can be configured to read
incoming e-mail headers and filter messages to different folders based on
these headers. E-mails that pass through Sentex, and are considered to be SPAM, are
marked as having SPAM content in the hidden header area of the message.
To have Eudora transfer the suspected SPAM e-mails to a
“suspected_spam” folder, follow these steps:

Start Eudora 5.2. -
Select Filters from the WINDOW (may be FILE menu)
menu.

Click on the New button.

In the Match section, only check the Incoming
option.

In the Header field of the Match section,
type (without the quotes) “X-Spam-Status”,
then click Enter.

Select Contains from the following
menu.

Next to the Contains option, type (without
the quotes) “Yes”.

In the Action section, select the option Transfer
to.

Select a mailbox from the main
Eudora Transfer menu by clicking New...

Type (without the quotes) “suspected_spam”.

Click on the button OK.

Click File, then Close.

Click Save
to save the filter definition.
To view the hidden e-mail headers do the following:
After you have opened a message, click on the “BLAH BLAH BLAH” button
at the top left-hand side of the message window. |
