Shakespeare Arms Times One

Final

That was an up and down year. We ended the regular season in second place. One or two well timed double outs would have put us in first place for the division. But we missed them. Then we went on to a second from last finish in the play offs. But we went out on a winning note, beating Doogie's in a tie breaker.

Congratulations to everyone on a good fun year. Buba ended three shy of getting a ton in tons. Julian won 21 of the 25 singles he played. Gary won all three of his. Jim and Julian both got a 180 during the year, as did Sue before jumping to Elk's Den. Wigger came close, with a 160. Troy got the highest out for the team, with 130. There were only 3 higher in the league (156 and two at 134).

The Green Fees Fund is at $236.25.

The league banquet is on Saturday May 7 at the Holiday Inn. Details are on Pat's web site.

Tickets are $22 each. If you intend to go, bring your money next Monday and I will pick them up at Tequila Joe's and get them around to every one.
