Joseph Samuel Arsenault (photo at left [1]), born November 21, 1878 in Bonaventure, Québec, Canada [2] son of [1] Lazare Arsenault and Élizabeth Glazer. Died August 29, 1953, at 74 years of age [31], at Welland, Ontario [31].

Married July 31, 1906 [2] , at St. Bonaventure, Bonaventure, Québec [2] to:

Marie Clarisse Bernard (photo at left [1]), born December 31, 1885 [32] [33]or 1883 [31] in Bonaventure, Québec, Canada [31], daughter of Joseph Bernard and Philomène Lagacé. Died May 31, 1959 [31] . Buried at Welland, Ontario [31].

  7. Émile-Martin (Sammy) Arsenault, born 1918 Bonaventure, married Maria Maitland in England

Family History Details

This family lived on a farm at Bonaventure until 1929, when they permanently relocated to Welland, Ontario (except Joseph-Henri-Hector) [1].

Samuel and Clarisse were great-grandparents of the author of this site. Note that the photos have been professionally restored and retouched.
