Artist and Limited Editions on Fused Glass
The pendants listed below are Artist editions of my Original Pendant Paintings
These Reproductions have all been changed slightly from the Originals Paintings that were sold on ebay,
allowing the Original paintings to keep their Uniqueness and the One of A Kind value.
The process
First I a Modify and Digitize each painting. I then choose the glass I will use as the background
color of the pendant, and cut it into the approximate size and shape for the painting. At this point
the glass is fused (melted together) in kiln at temperatures up to 1500 degrees. When the
glass has cooled I use a wet grinder with a diamond bit to perfect the shape of each piece. I can now
process the images onto the glass by using special high fire paints. When it is completely dry I
put it back into the kiln and fire the pendant again to about 1400 degrees. At this temperature,
the paints and glass melt together allowing the painting to become part of the glass itself.
