No experience necessary! In just one fun-filled weekend, beginning to intermediate kayakers and canoeists will improve both flat and white water skills. On Saturday, we paddle calm and easy moving water in beautiful Guelph. You will learn about equipment, forward/backward/pivot strokes, self-rescues, etc. On Sunday, we paddle grades 1-2 moving water in the spectacular Elora Gorge where you will learn white water skills including turns, 'ferries', river reading, etc. Courses are offered every weekend from May through October. ‘Graduates’ of weekend courses are welcome to join us for any available Sunday to future improve skills.
