I purchased this wonderful
little painting off of eBay. It was touted as being by Bret Blevins and
as it's not signed I was a little sceptical. I emailed Bret asking if he
could confirm whether or not it was indead by him and the answer was yes.
In Mr. Blevins' own words, "Although I don't recall it, I'm sure it's genuine--I
did quite a few "watery" monotone paintings of that sort circa 1978--1980."
I then bid on it and won the auction and thought it would fit in perfect
in with my "Space" theme. Was I wrong? I think not! |
