This sketch is the result
of a very positive eBay auction experience. I won this sketch in an auction
that Fantastic Voyage's president Michelle was holding. As I eagerly waited
for the scan of the sketch to load on my monitor I knew it had to be mine.
I'm not a huge Elfquest fan but I do really like Wendy's work. Initially
I thought this sketch was done in '98 but having had a closer look at it,
it proves to be from '78, the year that Elfquest made it's debut in Fantasy
Quarterly. An early piece that holds a place of honour in my collection. |
