I met Bob last year at San
Diego's, Comicon International 2001. I'd seen his art online before meeting
him and didn't realize he was going to be at the con. When I found his
booth I was blown away. He does some truly amazing work. So I asked him
if he accepts commissions and the answer was yes. So after the convention
I got a hold of him and we set this up. The only direction I gave him was
that the piece was to be 'space' themed. The rest was up to him. I gotta
say that the end result just floored me. I can't believe how amazing this
piece is. Hopefully I'll be able to afford another one day. |
