When I met Stan at the 1998 San Diego Comicon he was kind enough to do this quick sketch for me. It only took him about 2 minutes to complete and I suspect he's done hundreds just like it but I think it shows his skill as an artist. His ability to create a finished drawing with a minimum of lines in such a short time span amazes me. Few artists have this talent and Stan is one of them. Enjoy! |
