I've loved this cover since the first time I saw it way back in 1994. I wrote Jay and asked him if he would be willing to sell it or even if he still had it. He replied with a very nice note saying that he was really proud of it and he didn't want to part with it. Now 6 years later he decided that he could live without it. I'm so proud to be the new care taker of this piece. This is the holiest of holies for me as far as grails go and given the week I've had I needed something just like this to pick me back up. I almost feel as if I can stop collecting original art now since there's nothing for me that can compare to this. |
