Products
YM-03 Yield Monitor
The Greentronics YM-03 Yield Monitor provides reliable yield mapping for potato, vegetable, and root crop harvesters. As the harvester moves across the field, the Yield Monitor measures the instantaneous crop yield at every point. A DGPS (Differential Global Positioning System) receiver is used to determine instantaneous position. Together, the yield and position data are stored in the monitor's internal memory. At the end of a
day of harvesting the data is transferred to the monitor's Data Transfer Unit, which is then taken to a standard computer to read the data and store it in a file on hard disk. A yield mapping program is then used to display a complete map of the accumulated yield data.
Automatic Tilt Controller
Maintains mobile equipment, such as potato and tomato harversters, in the level position without operator intervention. Provides efficient operation of the equipment while allowing the operator to focus on other aspects of its operation.
Center Finder
For use with tractor-drawn implements with steerable wheels, the Center Finder returns the wheels to the "straight" position at the push of a button. Eliminates the tedious and frustrating process of manually "tweaking" the wheels back to their straight position.
Products Under Development
Sprayer Boom Height Controller
Continuously measures the height of each boom above the ground and adjusts the booms to maintain an even height. Reduces the danger of boom damage and provides a more uniform spray pattern. Field tests conducted so far have shown very promising results. If you would like more information, please contact us.
Bin Piler Controller
Monitors the distance between the bin piler (or any type of conveyor) and the pile of material (such as potatoes) beneath it. When the pile grows too close to the bin piler, the controller automatically raises the bin piler, maintaining a minimal drop height.
