1999 Quotables
"You see these same cows winning at county shows and they really stand out from the rest. Get them here and the depth of quality goes right down through the class."
Hank Vanderpost, Bradford.
"Seated here (at the west end of the show ring) it's hard to believe that we're looking at the bottom end of the class. Anyone would be proud to take that lineup home to their own barn."
John Mayes, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce.

Fantastic Support

Throughout both days, announcer Gary West, kept the crowd up-to-date on the numerous sponsors who made the third Annual Ontario Dairy Discovery such a successful event. We appreciate the confidence of large corporate sponsors such as Gencor, Ontario Holsteins and the Region of Peel Agricultural Society, as well as the banks, businesses and breeders who are committed to building this showcase. Behind the scenes, Jim King, Site Coordinator adds " This year's success is the result of a huge team effort of volunteers from Brampton Fair, Dairy Discovery and numerous Ontario dairy farmers. A lot of hard work, faith and flexibility meant that we could be confident that everything would come together in the end." In the future, if you are looking to be part of seeing, buying or selling Canada's best dairy genetics, Ontario Dairy Discovery is "the place to grow!"
