Our
Chardonnay pure fresh grape juice comes from the Limoux area in
Southern part of France. The new appellation for this domain, drawn up
in 1993 applies to white wines made mainly from Chardonnay. French
viticultural authorities assess this "new" region as being
important for the cultivar from the French Terroir (no precise English
equivalent exists for this quintessentially French term). Look for its
keynote buttery and nutty flavours. Oak aging is highly recommended to
reach its full potential.

France
The French consume about 65 L of wine per
person per year. |
It
is the Cabernet Sauvignon to make the world envious of the
French dominance in winemaking. This esteemed vinifera red comes from
the area of Languedoc. Since 1985 the Coteaux du Languedoc wines have
been recognized as an appelation d'origine controlee - joining the other
AOC wines of the famous French regions. The distinct varietal taste and
aroma of this nectar, will turn to a spicy, herby and black currant nose
type of wine. Highcontent of anthocyanins and tanin make this pure
fresh grape juice an excellent candidate for aging in casks.
The best combination of the
vintage year 1996 in Roussillon - Languedoc area in the blend of Syrah
and Carignan grapes. The pure fresh grape juice of Syrah comes from
one of the noblest black grape variety, (see famous Hermitage). To
compliment this class we added the Carignan variety to achieve a robust,
deep colour and heady wine. The result of this marriage delivers a
tannic, peppery wine to your cellar which can mature superbly. |
