but we hope to restart, and recruit enough players in the fall, to send
a team to the Provincials in Barrie in 2003.
Our 5-pin bowlers are enjoying their new facilities at Mike's Lanes. Our Spring bowling tournament was delayed by bad weather, but rescheduled at the end of April 2002. The athletes going to the Nationals are being recognised by the city of Stratford in an upcoming ceremony. |

In Memoriam:
The Kiwanis Club and The Stratford
Special Olympics lost a dear friend and benefactor: Don Morris, through
the Kiwanis Club, sponsored our Floor Hockey and Softball B Teams. He passed
away in March 2002, after a lengthy illness. Our thoughts are with his
wife and family. Mr Rob Smith has stepped in to fill the void.
