Hi, my real name is Dave Evans and I live in Ontario Canada near Toronto but we call ourselves Mondo Telecards.
I started collecting phonecards after visiting France on a vacation in 1993 after noticing the collecting excitement over in Europe. Back in Canada I started to pick up a few items found at sportscard shows. Then Bell Canada began issuing chip cards and I joined the club and have accumulated many since. I usually have most of the sold-out Bell issues available for sale or trade.

Since then we have helped start a phonecard club in Toronto called the GTPC - Greater Toronto Phonecard Club. The membership is over 30 avid collectors many of whom meet once a month. At the present time I am the vice-president and my wife Pat is secy/treas. Yes, she too enjoys the phonecard collecting hobby. If you wish to join our club here is the application form. My interests at the present time are primarily worldwide chip and optical Phonecards although I also have some North American remote cards. Also I have a good selection of Ontario and Worldwide Visa Cash cards. Estimated size of collection - 2500 most are not commons. Phonecards to me are like miniature works of art and as a collectable have the intrinsic value of coins, the beauty of stamps and the collectability of sporscards.

My favorite countries for phonecards are;

Canada (of course), France (because that's where I became interested in collecting), Polynesia (I like the scenery), Norway, Mexico, Monaco, New Caledonia, Russia, any small or isolated countries, African nations.

My favourite Thematics are;

Coca Cola, Art, Scenery, Sports, Fauna, Transportation and Visa cash cards etc.
