Dear D & A:
We came over for a short break from the English weather .. but not too much
success so far.
You should come over here sometime; it's pretty. In fact, very nice
and better than that - fairly cheap in comparison .. and
all the "foreigners" here speak English !!!

Gorey Pier: These shops, hotels, restaurants, fishermen's cottages and private dwellings, have nestled beneath Mont Orgueil Castle, since the 15th century.

St. Aubin's Harbour, Jersey, Channel Islands.
Managed to obtain a week off and just flew over here for a much needed change. Weather at home (Weymouth, Dorset, U.K.) had been awful .. Didn't launch our boat until mid-June and still haven't been able to use it. But the sun is out here and we're up in the 70s to 80s. Taking some more time off in August .. Off out again now.
