The "Convenient" urinal (portable car loo) is hygienic, totally selfcontained, unspillable, odourless and re-usable. Ideal for the in-car (or small air-craft) situation and especially useful when travelling with children. Easily stowed, ready for any tight situation.

Used in home nursing it permits the patient more self help and could reduce the need for lifting by the care-giver. It also gives greater independence to the chairbound, both in or out of doors, the infirm and elderly, particularly at night when reduced lighting might put them at risk.

Portable Car Loo

The Emergency Convenient Portable Loo (Urinal only) is a unique polythene product designed to allow urination quickly and discreetly, which helps the able-bodied, handicapped and disabled people alike. It solves a basic human need which is worldwide. Bedside stand is available for night use.

The Product

Two separate hand-held applicators are available, one for male and one for female use (both are provided in the family pack). They are designed to accommodate adequately the genital area of both (adults and children). The applicators are injection moulded in flexible polythene are silent in use.

Cleaning Instructions

After use the "Convenient" should be emptied into the toilet. It is IMPORTANT TO STERILISE the reservoir and applicators as follows:

Use recommended sterilising fluid "MILTON 2". Dilute 1 capful to 4 pints of water, drain, rinse and dry. It is now ready for re-use.

How To Use The Product

The product affords the user immediate availability when a protesting bladder demands relief: i.e. on a journey in a car, in a wheelchair, in a strange hotel at night or the disabled and handicapped alone at home sat in a chair, also beneficial to light aircraft users and campers.

When this awkward situation arises the time factor is critical and the mental stress and physical pain involved is tremendous ( and can also cause permanent physical damage). Having immediate availability when conventional toilets are not available brings both physical and mental relief.

Before use, remove the hygiene cap to ensure a free flow into the reservoir bag. After connecting either the male or female applicator, as required, the convenience is now ready for use. The airvent hole in the female applicator indicates the front of the appliance. As the "Convenient" is gravity fed, it is advisable to sit well forward on the car seat, holding the applicator in an upright position. The reservoir is vacuum packed and will draw liquid into itself (Capacity 2 litres). After cleaning, it is important to re-vacuumise the reservoir bag and this is done simply by extruding all the air from the bag and closing the blue tap at once. It is now ready for use again. For greater privacy a rug may, of course, be used over the lap in the car or chair.

The "Convenient" has a non-return valve (no leaks). Check valve by blowing into bag before use and re-vacuumise the bag and ensure the tap is closed.
