Birding

Experience one of the most exciting recreational interests of our time. Mr. Taylor is an experienced birder who has taught others some of the skills that he has learned from "in the field" experience or from skills he has learned from other birders. He has visited many of the "Hot Spots" in Ontario as well as some other parts of Canada. He has been lucky enough to also have birded in Florida, Europe and Morocco. While Mr. Taylor's back yard list numbers more than 130 species on a site overlooking the Grand River in Kitchener, he is easily persuaded to leave his "armchair birding" to make at least one visit to Point Pelee each year. Binoculars and field guides are his regular companions whether on short trips shopping, sailing at the family cottage in Muskoka or on planned birding outings.
