Objects of the KWFN

The Kitchener-Waterloo Field Naturalists was incorporated on January 28th, 1969 through Letters Patent “for the following objects, that is to say:

a)      TO acquire and disseminate knowledge of natural history;

b)      TO protect and preserve wildlife;

c)      TO purchase and hold appropriate parcels of land for the advancement of conservation; and

d)      TO support public interest in nature and its preservation by supporting the enactment of wise legislation and by other means as falls within the scope of the Corporation.”

The KWFN is a registered charitable organization and all donations above the regular membership fees are tax deductible.  The KWFN is an affiliated member of the Federation of Ontario Naturalists.
