Me at the bottom of hoover dam
This is an interesting angle. It looks alot bigger from the bottom than this picture shows.

Hoover Damn looking down.
This damn is really tall. On the other side is the biggest man made lake.

Generators
we went on the tour and these generators generate enough power for 1,000,000 people. It doesn't sound like that much when you think that there are 250,000,000 people in the USA though. But... it doesn't produce nuclear waste so thats good!.

How Jeff and I saved $3 Each.

Jeff and I noticed that the rate of a child was substansially lower than that of an adult for the Hoover damn tour. So I waited in line myself and said "one adult, one child" "where's the child?" "oh..uhh…. he's over there playing somewhere, I don't know" The lady couldn't help but think I was a poor parental/guardian unit. Anyways as we went into the tour I remember being worried about the tour guide guy noticing my admission sticker that said "CHILD" but he didn't.
